PARADE ROUTE INFO
At 3:30pm we will begin a parade through town. We initially wanted to do the same routes as 4th of July, but under the current circumstances ODOT is not approving any road shutdowns. But we have come up with a route that covers a lot of our town. Following are the city rules and approved route:
The parade shall be held on June 7, 2020, between the hours of 3:30 and 4:30 pm.
The parade shall be limited to the route approved by the City Council.
Vehicles in the parade must abide by regular traffic laws.
Vehicles may not be operated slower than 15 mph. Obey all traffic laws, including stop signs, and other safety traffic signs. There are no barricades, or individuals stopping traffic. You must allow other vehicles to leave driveways and drive in between the cars in the procession, if they should pull out in the middle of the parade.
The approved route begins and ends at High School north parking lot. It proceeds from the parking lot north to Arrow Leaf Ave, heading west, then south on Arrow Leaf Place, south on N. 7th St., west on Smith St., south on S. 6th St., east on Priceboro, north on S. 11th St., west on Siuslaw St., south on S. gth St., west on Priceboro, north on S. 6th St, east on LaSalle St., and north onto S. 9th St. to return to the high school.
Here are the Senior Videos. Normally the Senior Slide Show would be shown at graduation, but we are posting it here instead. I have included the awards and scholarships that were known to us for each student. I know that there may be some that have been missed.
There are also links for the Senior awards that would have been given out and Senior Award night. Unfortunately, there is not a video for each award.
We also did a special goodbye video for our seniors. You will be missed! Congrats Class of 2020!!

There will be a roped off area in the north parking lot for graduates and their families to come in and line up. Please remember, no more than 2 vehicles per graduate*
There will be staff on hand to help guide you. If you have 2 vehicles please line them up together. You can arrive about 12:45 pm-1 pm however, please remember that you can not get out of your vehicles until you are ready to walk/watch them walk across the stage. There is no public restroom available. There is not a specific order to be in so you do not need to be here at a specific time. The ceremony will begin at 2 pm. The stage and family area will be out front of the main office. We are preparing for rain or shine for graduation
Once your portion of the ceremony is finished you will exit out the south driveway. Seniors who will be in the parade need to be back to the north parking lot by 3:15 pm so they can be ready to go by 3:30 pm.
Caps & Gowns are in!! Kim will be in the HS office on Thursday and Friday from 8am-5pm for you to pick them up. If those dates and times don't work, please call to find out a time for you to pick them up. Don't forget to pick up your Senior t-shirt as well! #classof2020 #eaglestrong
Caps and gowns should be delivered next week! You will be notified when they are available for pickup.
For graduation day, we will allow each senior to have 2 cars if needed. Please make sure when you get in line that you are together. We will limit you to the normal ticket amount of 12 people in your family and you must all be in just the two cars. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to call the office and talk to Kim. This plan is of course is based on current restrictions and those may change at any time.
On June 7th at Harrisburg High School at 2pm we will begin the ceremony. We will need everyone to continue to obtain social distancing so we are asking everyone to come in their own vehicle and when you are outside your vehicle to remain 6 feet away from anyone not living in your household. Graduates will pull up, get out, and be called up to a stage where they will get to walk across and receive their diploma from Mr Stauber. There will be an area blocked off where families will be allowed to stand, watch and take pictures. We will be asking that as soon as you are done to please get in your car and you and your families move to the north parking lot where you will get ready for the parade that will begin at 3:30pm, and to give room for the next family to move forward. We are working with our tech support Mr Lambert on getting the ceremony live streamed so everyone can see even if they are unable to be in the parking lot itself.
