Dear Harrisburg Middle School Families,
This is an important reminder that vehicles should never be parked in the bike lanes in front of Harrisburg Middle School.
The sheriff has made it very clear that vehicles parked and left unattended in the bike lanes are subject to a parking ticket. We want to make sure our families are aware of this expectation and avoid receiving an unnecessary citation.
Please remember that this applies before and after school, as well as during athletic contests and other school events. Even when dropping off or picking up students or attending an evening activity, the bike lanes must remain clear.
Keeping these lanes open is important for the safety of our students, bicyclists, and other community members who use them. We appreciate your help in keeping our school community safe and following these expectations.
Thank you for your continued support of Harrisburg Middle School!
Thanks,
Graham Hughes
