This summer, the Linn County STAND Youth Council is prioritizing mental health and connection with their latest campaign: "Check In, Don't Check Out."
The message to their peers is simple but powerful—take time to reach out. If you notice a friend struggling, whether it’s with mental health, substance use, or just going through a tough time, check in.
Throughout the summer, STAND will keep the momentum going. They’re rolling out more “Check In, Don’t Check Out” tips and offering a suggested list of fun, safe summer activities around Linn County—encouraging teens to stay connected during the break.
